Meet Two of The Stars of the Tyson American Cup 2009

I hope you plan on watching the Tyson American Cup. This year it is being held close to home in Hoffman Estates, just outside of Chicago on February 21st, 2009. It promises to be a great chance to get up close and personal with the country’s best gymnastic athletes.

This year, I have my eye on two gymnasts in particular – Bridget Sloan and Jordyn Weiber. Both, incredible athletes.

Bridget, of course, is expected to be the cornerstone of the national team after winning silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She’s pretty impressive for a high school sophomore and she surely won’t disappoint at the Tyson.

When not watching Sloan, I’ll have my eye on Jordyn Weiber. At only 13, this is Weiber’s first national adult championship (she’s the 2008 U.S. Junior National Champion). The young star has a reputation for difficult tricks and hard stunts. I am looking forward to seeing her pull out all of them at the Tyson.
